This Privacy Policy explains how BG AI ("we", "us", "the Service"), available at https://brajeshgautam.ai, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using BG AI you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

BG AI is an astrology and spiritual-guidance assistant inspired by and grounded in the public teachings of Shri Brajesh Gautam Ji. It lets you ask questions and receive guidance in a chat interface.

2. Information we collect

• Google account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture, as permitted by the Google scopes you approve. We use this only to create and identify your account.
• Your chats. The questions you send and the replies you receive are stored so your conversation history is available to you across sessions.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as the time of a request) that are inherent to operating any website.

3. How we use your information

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To save and display your chat history to you.
• To generate responses to your questions.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

4. How your questions are processed

To answer you, your message is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API) which generates the response. Your message and relevant teaching excerpts are sent for that purpose. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to run BG AI (our hosting provider and the AI provider described above), and only as needed to deliver the Service or when required by law.

6. Data retention

Your account information and chat history are retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated chats at any time (see Contact below).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and server-side storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Your choices

• You can sign out at any time.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
• You can revoke BG AI's access to your Google account from your Google Account settings.

9. Children

BG AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
